Dell Cradle for Axim X30

The X30 version of the JLT Complete System includes a Dell sync/charge cable, which can simulaneously sync the Axim to your computer and charge it. The cradle does the same thing. It also has two other features:

How to Use It

Plug the USB cable into a port on your computer (more info on connecting)--you don't need to plug in the USB if you only want to charge the batteries.

Plug the power supply into a working wall outlet, then plug the round connector on the power supply cord into the round receptacle on the back of the cradle. Do not rely on just the power from the USB connection to charge your Axim--on most computers it is not strong enough and chronic undercharging will lead to problems. Always be sure to plug in and connect the power supply. The Dell power supply is universal--it accepts the wall current anywhere in the world, 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz.

Put the Axim in the front slot--put it in at the angle of the slot and push it down gently so it connects (don't force it it down). If you want to charge an extra battery, put it in the rear slot. You can use either or both slots, and it doesn't matter which order you insert them if you want to charge both the Axim and an extra battery. Charge the Axim every night; don't worry about leaving it on the charger once the battery is full--the battery has a protective circuit to keep it from overcharging.

When the power supply is plugged in and the Axim is placed in the cradle, the Dell logo on the front of the cradle will glow
