Innopocket Aluminum Case for the Axim X30

A well-made, strong aluminum case offering excellent protection from impacts, twisting, pressure, and of course scratches. A good solid case like this eliminates just about all the wear and tear on the Axim, making it quite likely your Axim will serve you reliably for years to come.

One hint: if you want metal protection, the Innopocket and other cases of similar book-style design are the only options for the X30; if you prefer a flip case in which the front opens over the top and folds down behind, rather than a case that opens like a book, with a few minutes work you can mod the aluminum case. Simply wrap a wide strip of velcro around the case vertically, stick it to the front and back parts of the case (leave a tiny bit of slack at the top to make opening and closing easier), and remove the pin from the side hinge. Ta-daa! I find that when I'm using the Axim, it's much more comfortable and secure to hold a flip-style case than a book-style case (the cover open to the side is just where my fingers want to be). Plus, the cushioning of the layer of velcro adds even more protection when you drop your Axim (though only if it lands on the velcro, of course).
